1) Eligibility
- You must be 18+ to use the Platform (website/app). By registering, you confirm your details are true and complete.
2) Nature of Services
- Groceasy is a marketplace connecting customers with local merchants and service providers.
- Fulfilment modes: (a) Self‑Pickup, (b) Shop Delivery (by merchant), (c) Third‑Party Delivery Partner.
- Product listing, pricing, stock and taxes are set by merchants.
3) Account, Verification & Wallet
- Login via OTP or username/password.
- The Groceasy Wallet displays credits, debits and loyalty rewards; it is non‑transferable and usable only on the Platform.
- You are responsible for securing your account and for all activity under it.
4) Orders, Pricing & Payments
- Prices, offers and availability may change without notice.
- Payments may be accepted via UPI, cards, net banking, wallet, or COD (where available).
- Invoices are issued by the merchant. Taxes are shown at checkout where applicable.
- Groceasy is not liable for pricing/stock errors, but may cancel/refund an order in such cases.
5) Delivery, Delays & Risk
- Estimated delivery times are indicative. Risk in goods passes upon delivery or pickup.
- If delivery attempts fail due to incorrect address/unavailability, additional charges may apply.
6) Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
- Policies may vary by merchant and category (e.g., perishables, custom items, hygiene products often non‑returnable).
- Where permitted, cancellations/returns/refunds are processed per the merchant’s policy and timelines.
- Prepaid refunds are typically routed to the original method or Groceasy Wallet.
7) Product Quality & Compliance
- Merchants are solely responsible for product description, quality, packaging, warranties and after‑sales support.
- For FSSAI‑regulated items, merchants must hold valid licences and comply with applicable standards.
8) Reviews & Conduct
- Post only genuine reviews and lawful content. Do not misuse, interfere, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access.
9) Intellectual Property
- All Platform content (logos, UI, software, text, graphics) is owned by or licensed to Groceasy and protected by IP laws.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without written consent.
10) Third‑Party Services
- Payment gateways, map/location, logistics and other third‑party tools are provided “as is”. Their terms may apply in addition.
11) Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Groceasy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the affected transaction.
12) Indemnity
- You agree to indemnify Groceasy against claims arising from your breach of these terms or violation of law/third‑party rights.
13) Suspension & Termination
- We may suspend or terminate access for suspected fraud, risk, or breach. Wallet balances suspected from fraud may be frozen per law.
14) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- Governed by the laws of India; exclusive jurisdiction: courts at [bengalore City, Karnataka].
- Optional: first attempt amicable resolution via support before escalation.
15) Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms; continued use after posting means acceptance.
