1. Order Cancellation
Customers may cancel an order before it is confirmed by the merchant without any charge.
Once the merchant confirms the order, cancellation may not be possible for certain items (especially perishable or prepared foods).
Groceasy reserves the right to cancel an order if the product is unavailable, payment is not received, or fraud is suspected.

2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are issued in the following cases:
1. The order was cancelled by the customer before merchant confirmation.
2. The merchant is unable to fulfill the order.
3. The customer received damaged, defective, expired, or wrong items.
4. Non-delivery due to reasons attributable to the merchant or delivery partner.

3. Non-Refundable Items
Refunds will not be applicable for:
Perishable goods (fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat) once delivered.
Prepared food and beverages after delivery.
Items returned without original packaging (where applicable).
Items damaged due to customer mishandling.

4. Refund Method & Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method (UPI, card, net banking, etc.) or Groceasy Wallet.
Refunds usually reflect within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank/payment provider.
Wallet refunds are usually credited within 24 hours.

5. Returns & Replacement
For eligible items, customers must raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery via the app/website.
Merchants may offer replacement instead of refund, depending on product category.

6. Disputes
If a refund request is denied, customers can escalate by contacting Groceasy Support at support@groceasy.com.
Groceasy may mediate between customer and merchant, but the final decision may rest with the merchant for certain product categories.
